Philip O'Connor
Phil is the managing partner at Essex Abel and has been with the practice since joining in 1989 from a national firm of accountants. He became managing partner in 1997 and has played a leading role in the expansion of the practice since this time.
He works closely with a diverse range of client types such as landowners, property developers and building contractors and advises on all aspects of a business; especially in dealing with the complexities of tax planning, wealth management, finance raising and providing business advice.
Phil acts as Non executive finance director for a number of businesses in the East Midlands and was recently appointed as Finance Director for Donington Park Racing Ltd, the leading motor racing circuit based at Castle Donington.
His interests include motor racing and in particular Formula 1, walking and shooting.
